High Pressure Autoclave for Rubber Vulcanization
The construction of a rubber autoclave typically involves a robust body and bottom made of carbon steel. Steam is introduced from the bottom of the boiler, and an automatic pneumatic angle seat valve controls the air inlet. The diffusion surface has regularly arranged holes to ensure even steam distribution and uniform temperature. The autoclave can automatically heat up and vulcanize after setting the procedures, and it will stop working and raise an alarm when finished. Safety features include multiple interlocks to prevent accidents during the curing process.
A rubber autoclave is a pressurized chamber utilized for the vulcanization of rubber products. Vulcanization is a chemical process that improves the physical properties of natural or synthetic rubber by heating it with sulfur and other substances. The high heat and pressure conditions within the autoclave ensure that the rubber achieves higher tensile strength, resistance to swelling and abrasion, and elasticity over a broader temperature range.
The applications of rubber autoclaves are extensive. They are used for the vulcanization of various rubber products such as hoses, tires (both new and refurbished), rollers, cables, pipes, capsules, sheets, gloves, shoes, tapes, and more.
